Vien Feth is a RYT-300 Hours yoga practioner from Hong Kong. Her yoga journey began when she was a young teenager. Intrigued by those fascinating yoga poses in the social media, she was motivated to achieve the “perfect” asanas. As time goes by, it opened up a brand new experience for her - There is no such thing as “one size fits all” asanas, not to mention a perfect alignment. The fact is we all born different, meaning that it is impossible to find two identical skeletal structure on earth. To this end, her yoga teaching focuses on individual body alignments that are unique to you and therefore, only apply to the specical you. Having it as a foundamental block, the ultimate goal is to make the inner connection between mind, body and spirit.
In 2019, she further completed a Yin Yoga Teacher Training combined with the application of acupuncture. Having the knowledge of chinese medicine, it allows her to offer an unconventional Yin Yoga practice i.e. AcuYin to the audience.
This course is specifically designed for fresh starters. Throughout the course, you will be practising a wide variety of Asana and sequences. By easing into each pose for a longer period of time, not only will you learn to be more conscious of your own body but also deepen the stretch as well as strengthen the muscles.
Advanced yogis return to this course from time to time to work on the finer points of alignment in the basic Asanas.
Strength & Mindfulness
This course is ideal for yogis who practises yoga regularly for at least six months. You will be introduced to more advanced postures as well as varies breathing techniques. This course requires participants to be equipped with a basic understanding of body alignment and Asana.
Flow of Movement
You will be moving fluidly from pose to pose through strong sequences of Sun Salutations and standing poses. Each movement is synchronised with a breath. You breathe in when moving into the pose and you exhale as you exit.
This course requires participants to have a solid understanding of the principle of Asana and correct use of breathing techniques.
Slow your practice
A still, slow-paced yoga practice where poses are held for a longer period of time. This passive yoga class helps you stretch connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine).
Harmonising Qi flow
If you're looking to to reset your body and mind, to isolate yourself from the hectic world and to find time for inner self, this is an ideal course for you.
Turning off our brain from time to time creates clarity in thoughts, strengthens our immune system and shifts negative thinking. A customised class can be designed for you upon request.
